TARD is a funny word
talking to KRUNKSHOX the other day after some downhill runs with PHIL and i was saying how much i wanted to get a "supermoto" or "motard" bike. KRUNKSHOX had no idea what they were, i explained that they are half "moto gp" and half "motocross" he giggled and said like a RUCKUS?!?
this is a ruckus.
and this is the bike i want to get.
i think any robot would agree that the black bike is fucking bad ass.
this what the races look like. minute 3.44-3.50 #12 ... rules stoppy to drift = total fucking badass
granted, the black kawasaki is just a commuter bike at heart but its still pretty bad ass for getting to and from work. plus it looks like every assasin bad guy's bike out of every james bond movie.

Vans: still awesome
I've been looking on craigslist for potential race mobiles. I've broken ideas into three camps:
-Normal van w/ queen mattress in back, bikes on rack. Good for 1-2 people. $2000-$4000
-Class C mini-RV, bikes on rack. Good for 2-4 people. $3000-$4000
-Tent trailer, put bikes in towing mobile. Good for 2-3 people. $2000.
The upside is that unless we kill said vehicle, we can recover most of the purchase price at the end of the year. The gallons and gallons of oil and coolant necessary to keep these vehicles running would probably not be recovered.
All of the vans pictured are under four grand, and all of them are sweet. The van has 124,000 miles, and the RV's all have around 80,000.
Yes, this is a dumb idea. But it's a sweet dumb idea, and you're all jealous.

Fluidride Cup #1
The first round of the Fluidride Cup just happened in Whistler this past weekend. It was rad, and went off without a hitch. Lots of good racing happened for other people. We went up with high hopes, and I felt on the pace for a fast result.
Our Plans for the weekend:
Our Results from the weekend:
Patrick and I both crashed in our runs. The course ran down Schleyer, so there were a lot of slippery wooden bridges. Bummer. Patrick and I were both taken out by the aforementioned wooden structures. I got 15th, 10 seconds off of a podium.
Not surprisingly, on a course made out of wooden structures, every podium had a Canadian on top of it. Bummer.
