TEAM ROBOT interviews

When reached for comment, Andrew Neethling is "so excited" to be riding Box components and to be off full Blackbox support at all the races.

He added he was "over the moon" about the switch from Schwalbe to Kenda, as well as being "really proud" of Hutchison UR's totally not cheesy team launch video from New Zealand:

Killer hold music during this part of the video, too.

[Editor's note: my error, it's not the "Hutchison United Ride Team" anymore. Now they are the "Island of Misfit Toys United Ride Team"]

  1. ^^ Until you need to get hold of parts and the two old farts that work for them in Toulouse don't like to actually make anything when needed.

  2. I was really bummed the guy on the scooter/trailerbike didn't ride the whole video on the scooter with his bike flailing all over, behind him.

  3. yeah, like you ever rode some of the blackbox stuff.
I'm getting really tired of all that bullshit Dirt is spreading right now about the YT being better than a pros bike, because of it's BOS suspension etc..

  4. Except that the YT actually is better out of the box than plenty of pros' bikes. For all the decent bikes on the market, there's still some absolute dogshit out there.

Thats what my cat thinks of that vid.
She lasted 3mins of it before the thoughts of licking her ass took precedence and she walked over the keyboard.

  9. Those Kendas lasted about 10 seconds in Rotorua before the Schwalbe Magic Markers were busted out. Shocking right?

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

Sure. Keep on thinking that if it makes you feel warm at night. Funny that even BOS riders get custom tunes (plus that funky telemetry box that Therion used in Valnord). All the bikes on the WC teams have custom bits, and precisely zero of them run stock suspension. Better outta the box my shiny metal ass.

  11. Having ridden a Jimmy D shock straight outta black box...I wasn't good enough for it. But god DAMN it felt nice.
