This guys got me second guessing my downhill bike. Wise, insightful, and well-reasoned:
I don't know why you would buy a downhill bike. Clearly if you read anything on pinkbike you would know that short travel bikes make you a way better rider. My buddy got a downhill bike once and he got way worse at riding, so I only buy cyclocross bikes now.
