Comfort zone

Instead of trying to compete with international-level talent at a true blood downhill track, I'm back at a regional enduro race with other washed up ex-downhillers.

It's like a well worn armchair. So comfy, so familiar.

Going for placing in the middle of the pack again eh?

Can these ex-downhillers really be considered 'washed up' when at the peak of their careers their annual income from riding mountain bikes was considerably smaller than that of an illegal Mexican immigrant standing outside Home Depot

So you will win this race easily?
If not - leave your comfort zone!
By the way, "comfort zone" is a term, created by primitiv MBAs.

I thought Gwin killed enduro with his chainless run?

Enduro racers: biggest posers in the world. Pretending they are DH race stars when the reality is nobody watches and nobody cares because it's not DH.

Enduro racing is fun, and you are good at it and you know it. Stop hating yourself, Charlie. You're a good boy. Champ.
